Attorney Robert Nislick graduated cum laude in 2005 from Suffolk University Law School. As part of the school’s clinical program, Rob earned honors for his work on behalf of indigent criminal defendants, as part of the Suffolk Defenders. Rob connected with his clients and handled their cases successfully. Rob also earned a spot as a staff member on Suffolk Transnational Law Review.
During his time at Suffolk, Rob began to develop his knowledge of real estate law by working as a title examiner in the Middlesex South Registry of Deeds for Shapiro & Greene, LLP, a conveyancing firm based in Hull. Rob also worked at Shaevel & Krems, a Boston firm specializing in Real Estate Management, Real Estate Development, Landlord-Tenant, and Labor and Employment law.
After graduation, Rob served as a law clerk to the Honorable Leon J. Lombardi, Associate Justice (Ret.) of the Massachusetts Land Court. At the Land Court, Rob developed an extensive knowledge of real property and land use law and an understanding of the judicial decision making process.
Rob’s firsthand exposure at the Land Court to scores of real estate disputes prepared him well to join Marcus, Errico, Emmer & Brooks, P.C., as an associate in the firm’s litigation department. For close to six years at MEEB, Rob put his knowledge of property law to good use. He has worked on and won many kinds of real estate and general civil cases in the Appeals Court, the Appellate Division of the District Court, the Superior Court, the Land Court, and the District Court.
In 2012, Rob was accepted to join the Committee for Public Counsel Services Appeals and Post-Conviction panel. In connection with his joining this panel, Rob started his own law firm. As a panel member, Rob handles the appeals of criminal defendants who have been found guilty at trial. In 2013, Rob joined the CPCS Mental Health Litigation Panel.
July 2019 marks seven years that Rob has been practicing under his own banner. He enjoys serving a diverse clientele of business people and individuals. Rob takes pride in providing the best representation possible to his clients.
